Minutes for a meeting of the Council on Tuesday 18th January 2022 at 7.15 pm in car park at Wellesbourne Sports & Community Centre car park, Loxley Close, Wellesbourne

4. Confirmation of the order of the agenda – agreed

5. Identification of any items that might be resolved for confidential session – none

6. Open session for members of the public to raise any matters of relevance to the Parish – none

7. Recommendations
7.1 Recommendation to agree preferred contractor “Aubergine” from quotes provided to set up a new compliant website for WWPC Prop Cllr AP, 2nd Cllr AS carried
7.2 Recommendation to agree change of website name including change to email addresses to .gov.uk Prop Cllr AP, 2nd Cllr AB carried
7.3 Recommendation that the Clerk continues with delegated powers to make online payments on behalf of WWPC due to pandemic restrictions, until the PC can return to usual practices to be reviewed within 6 months Prop Cllr AP, 2nd Cllr AS carried
7.4 Recommendation that powers be delegated to the Clerk to respond to planning applications on behalf of WWPC when not practical to hold meetings, having sought opinion from Councillors, to be reviewed within 6 months Prop Cllr AP, 2nd Cllr DB carried

8. Cllrs & Clerk exchange of information
Cllr Blake – asked if Cllrs had seen the cut back works on Loxley Road and the damage caused to the vegetation and street furniture
The Clerk had circulated an email from WCC about why the works had been carried out, she noted the lack of aboricultural care
Cllr Cannon asked when the Multi- Agency meeting was to take place? It was noted the meeting had been arranged but was postponed
due to the new variant of Covid leading to home working again. ACTION: Set up new dates for February
Clerk – Facebook entries asking why the Christmas lighting is still active – response given on the thread to say they would be taken
down on Thursday 20th January. ACTION: Request the timers be turned off next season by 6th January even if lights cannot be taken
down at that time.

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting closed at 7.25pm
