7. Approval of the AGAR (Annual Governance & Accountability Return)
7.1 Consideration of the Annual Governance Statement 2018/19 – Cllrs considered the Annual Governance Statement.
Recommendation to approve & sign the Annual Governance Statement 2018/19 Prop Cllr Prior, 2nd Cllr Kendall carried
7.3 Consideration of the Accounting Statements by Councillors 2018/19 – Cllrs considered the Accounting Statement.
Recommendation to approve and sign the Accounting Statement 2018/19 Prop Cllr Kendall, 2nd Cllr Bolton carried

30th April 2019 – agreed
7th May 2019 – Remove Index as 18/19 was not an Index year and revise subsequent numbering – agreed with amendment

10. Cllr and Clerk exchange of information
Cllr Kendall – complaint received from resident on Hampdon Way regarding the public land and path at the rear of his property being used by youngsters drinking, playing music and having barbeques, the remains of which were carelessly thrown into his garden narrowly missing setting fire to his fences and summer house. This matter had been reported to the police who had sent the fire brigade to negate the fire hazard. It was agreed to ask SDC to cut back the weeds from the rest of the vegetation and then in the autumn to carry out full maintenance works.
Cllr Bolton said there had been concerns that travellers had been seen on the Newbold Road Land acquired by WWPC, which in fact they hadn’t . It was agreed to ask Walton Estate to request the farmer on the land next to the site secure his gate with a lock to prevent access.
Cllr Prior had met with the Annex school head regarding the Street Fayre and was informed that the planning had been approved with conditions for works on the new building at the Annex to begin. An email had been received from Dr Read-Jones regarding Wildgoose (the Medical Centre contractor) making good the land on Dog Close to be leased to WWPC. It suggested that he meet the Chairman to discuss possible mutually acceptable solutions, such as planting rather than fencing and lifebelts.
Action: Forward the email to Walton Estate who currently still own the land.
Action:Request WWPC grounds maintenance team to give a quote for fencing of the SUDS By: Cllr AP
