7. Urgent Planning – Cllr AS
7.1 Applications
18/01600/FUL Construction of one detached bungalow with all associated works
At 9 Kineton Road For Mr & Mrs Albert and Mary Holbert
Case Officer Joe Brooke By 31st July 2018
The Council objected to the application on the grounds it would be overdevelopment of the site and the acknowledged impact on neighbouring property (7d) Kineton Road, including loss of light from their amenity space. Cllrs noted that the parking earmarked for the property was not within the boundary which would only work whilst the property was occupied by the family which has the potential to cause parking issues in the long term.

8. Cllr and Clerk exchange of information
Cllr Mrs Michael commented that the Police had issued a warrant to remove knives and other weapons from sale at the market.
Cllr Mrs Bartlett asked when the hedges would be cut on the roads into Walton.
Cllr Mrs Bolton said it was anticipated that the Index would soon be issued
Cllr Shepherd said he had written as a resident to MP Jeremy Wright relaying his concerns about potential closure of the airfield. The response had been positive, with the MP writing to SDC pledging his support to the airfield and the established aviation businesses.
