Minutes of an Extra-ordinary meeting of the Council on Tuesday 27th February 2018 at 7.00pm at the Parish Council Office at 2 School Road, Wellesbourne

5. Declarations of Interest
Cllr Mrs Prior declared a non pecuniary interest in matters pertaining to item 18/00157/FUL as known to the applicants.
Cllr Mrs Michael declared a non pecuniary interest in matters pertaining to item 18/00157/FUL as known to the applicants.

6. Open Session for members of the public to raise any matters of relevance to the Parish –
Mrs Dane, Newbold Road – item 18/00157/FUL, more acceptable application but concerned about the removal of a 150 year old wall changing the street scene in a conservation area and the loss of on street parking in an already congested area.
Mrs Cook, Church Street – agreed with the comments of Mrs Dane on 18/00157/FUL and raised concern about 18/00415/TREE, particularly T3 questioning the need for 25% thinning.
Mr & Mrs Forbes-Mc-Glen – explained their reasons for the application and confirmed that the wall will be reconstructed further back and the wooden fencing and gates would be replaced with Victorian rail fencing, more suited to the conservation area. The loss of one parking space was acknowledged but the current access/egress would be much improved for the applicant.

8. Request from Bowls Club
8.1 Shed installation for Art Group – Cllrs considered the request but declined to give permission as the art group are not part of the Bowls Club, but hire a room for a few hours a week.
Action: Inform Bowls Club of the decision to decline By: Office
