Minutes of an Extra-ordinary meeting of the Council which took place on Tuesday 13th December 2016 at 7.15pm at the Parish Council office at 2 School Road, Wellesbourne

- Approval of Apologies for Absence
Apologies were given and accepted from Cllrs Mrs Bartlett, Mrs Bolton, Mrs Hurdman and Shepherd
- Confirmation of the order of the Agenda
An additional item of planning was tabled at 7.3 and an item of late correspondence was tabled after item 8
- Identification of any items that might be resolved for confidential session – there were none
- Declarations of Interest
Cllrs Close, Lawley, Mrs Michael and Mrs Prior declared a non-pecuniary interest in item 7.2 as the applicant was known to them
- Open Session for members of the public to raise any matters of relevance to the Parish

The Council objected to this application on the grounds that it was out of context with the rest of the streetscene. They also raised concerns regarding visibility when leaving the property as there was no turning circle.

Cllrs wished to thank the developer for responding to their concerns but would prefer that the two and a half storey house was sited further into the development where it would not impact on the abutting property in Gloster Gardens.
- Payment of outstanding invoices as listed on attached cheque list
This was agreed and signed by the Chairman Prop Cllr DK 2nd Cllr BH
- Late Correspondence
An item of late correspondence had been received from Mr Hanson and was deferred to the Amenities and Highways meeting which followed.
- Cllr and Clerk exchange of information
Cllr CM said there was a meeting of the Dementia Café on Wednesday 21st December between 2 and 4 pm and any Cllr was welcome to drop in.
Cllr BH said the car wash facility at GWS was still spraying pedestrians and there was a problem of double parking in Chestnut Square
