Chedham’s Yard, Live & Local and St Peter’s Church invite everyone to a free concert to celebrate the launch of the Discover: Chedham’s Stories story-trail.
The concert is on Friday 9th September at St Peter’s Church at 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00pm).
It’s an evening of captivating live music and a chance to join in the experience for this unique insight into the Chedham’s Yard blacksmith heritage site through stories, songs and reminiscences.
Warwickshire County Council Tourism Event Fund has been working to develop a new way of promoting heritage sites and tourism in the area.
Chedham’s Yard has been part of this project and has been working with them and a group of local musicians to develop a musical event based on stories gleaned from interviews with volunteers and residents. These have now been set to music by Kelly Elliott and her team.
Entry to the concert is free but tickets are required so that numbers can be determined for the catering. There will be free wine and canapés before the concert.
You can obtain your tickets by calling the Live and Local Office at WCC on 01926 402173 or by e-mailing katy@live]}**andlocal.org.uk
