Minutes of the Amenities Highways Committee which met on Tuesday 28thJune 2016 at 7.30 pm at the Parish Council office at 2 School Road, Wellesbourne

Apologies from Cllr Close were given and accepted

There were none
- Confirmation of the order of the Agenda and identification of any items likely to be resolved to confidential session
It was confirmed and item 6 was identified for confidential session and was moved to the end of the agenda. Prop Cllr RB 2nd Cllr AP
- Open session for members of the public to raise any matters of relevance to the Parish
There were none
- Committee and Clerk Exchange of information
Cllr RT said the grass cutting in Chestnut Square was inadequate. It was agreed to ask the handyman to cut the area should the need arise. He also said the drains in Bridge Street needed clearing and he asked when the Chestnut Square bollards were likely to be installed.
Cllr EL reported a large pot hole in Church Street on the way to the church.

Under section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, in view of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest, as if members of the public were present during the consideration of such business, there would be disclosure to them of exempt information under paras 1 and 11 and Part 1 Schedule 12A of the said Act that the public will be excluded.
- Christmas Lights
Examination of the proposals of three contractors prior to the submission of a recommendation for a preferred supplier to the Full Council meeting of 5th July 2016. Having examined the proposals of the three contractors the Committee agreed a preferred contractor to recommend to the next Full Council meeting Prop Cllr EL 2nd Cllr CM motion carried
