Minutes of the  Extra-ordinary meeting of the Council which took place on Tuesday 14th June 2016 at 7.15pm at the Parish Council Office at 2 School Road, Wellesbourne.

Cllrs objected to this application as the bulk would increase overshadowing and affect the amenity of the neighbour’s property Prop Cllr RB 2nd Cllr EL carried (Cllr DK abstained)

8.      Payment of outstanding invoices as per attached cheque list – Prop Cllr EL 2nd Cllr DK,          carried

9.      Cllr and Clerk exchange of information

         Cllr DK said that S106 money for the Oxford Way development was likely to be £19,500 and would be allocated towards the provision of a MUGA (multi use games area).  Two large potholes had been reported in Walton.

         Cllr BH asked the Clerk to find out if there was a requirement for planning approval for the installation of fences in the Frost Road/Hopkings Way area of the village

         Cllr EL said the Street Fayre had been a great success and thanks were due to the Chairman and Committee for the planning and organisation.  He had also been to the Miller Homes estate and handed out 16 welcome packs.  These were enthusiastically received.

         Cllr RB reported that the new Index had arrived and was in the process of distribution

         Cllr AP said Mr Gareth Roberts had informed her that Jeremy Wright MP had opposed the planning application for new housing off Kineton Road.  She also reported that Wellesbourne Youth Services had said that the Council had never had a representative on the Management Committee. It was agreed that Cllr AP should voice the Council’s concern to Kate Mier. (Cllr DC declared a non-pecuniary interest and took no part in the discussion.).
