Wellesbourne and Walton
The Boyse Foundation
The Reverend Richard Boyse Foundation is a charity that supports the education (in its broadest sense) of children and young people resident in Wellesbourne. The vicar of Wellesbourne, Revd Kate Mier, is the Chair of Trustees.
The charity manages the funds arising from the sale of the school that a previous vicar, Reverend Richard Boyse set up in Wellesbourne in 1739.
The trustees make modest grants to children and young people up to age 21 in continuous full time education. Grants are unlikely to exceed a total of £250 per person throughout their education.
In recent years grants have been made towards equipment to support particular learning needs, sports and music lessons, uniforms, and educational expeditions.
Applicants who are over 18 must either be on the parish Electoral Roll or provide proof of address.
Any grant will be made payable directly to the provider of the goods or services to be funded and payee details will be required.
